Nice module!

The only thing it lacks IMO is the lack of preloader.
In case of low bandwidth the previous view objec fades out but the next one is only started to load. And that brakes the smoothness of slideshow.

So is it hard to implement preloading?

cycle has some safety for preloading images. 2.x should work better.
