I'm trying to create a Block view that shows the next 5 events. The block appears fine, but it only shows the next 5 events for the current month selected, and it shows a month selector.

I think this is b/c the code for the Block list view was lifted from the Body/Page list view. In this case, eliminating the month selector would make things much more clear.

If this is still a problem, it should be fixed in the 5.2 version, which is not quite ready for an official release. You can see that release if you look for 'other releases' on the project page. Try it in a test environment, or be prepared to update it as bugs are found and fixed.
