The tar file generated by Features is seriously broken, and commenting out the Secure Site implementation of hook_boot resolves the issue, so there's clearly an issue during the generation of the tar file cause by Secure Site :(

Sorry, I didn't provide any more information as it was just a note for myself for development of Secure Site by myself.

The issue, when it occurred, was pretty straight forward, with Secure Site active and authenticated, generating a Feature failed during the download process.

Obviously it's been a long time since I've tried it, and lots has changed, but I will try to attempt to reproduce to confirm if the issue still exists and if so I'll update this issue appropriately.
