I will like to have each separate item in a feed as a node. I will also like my feed items to display on FRONT PAGE as teaser, instead of as titles. Can someone help out and tell me if this is possible and how to do it.

See the comparison of the various aggregator modules at http://groups.drupal.org/node/4547. Using something like SimpleFeed or Leech and making a feed item a node will allow you to put the item on the front page.
