My client is currently running QuickBooks Premier (purchased this year) on her PC to handle invoices and orders; she also uses QuickBooks Merchant Services for face-to-face purchases.

Is there a known way to allow Drupal to process credit cards in such a way that data can be imported into the QuickBooks software?

I do have the option of recommending a different credit card processing method if that is the only option... anything that will allow my client to continue using QuickBooks! This has been pretty much her only request.

I know Ubercart was working on QB integration, but I read on their website that their server crashed and they lost everything.

Any help would be appreciated - I looked at the QB SDK and it's a mess! There's no way I can make sense of it and stay within my client's budget!

We have had success creating integrations with QuickBooks. We also have Drupal developers on staff. I would be very interested in helping you or anyone else interested in developing a solid integration for Drupal ecommerce.

Hi nineja,

if you're trying to integrate Quickbooks with your clients' ubercart store, you could consider looking into eCC, a desktop app made by Webgility (www.webgility.com). Its an Intuit gold certified product, that syncs QB with online stores. It works with all PC versions of QuickBooks and also integrates with shipping and payment processors.

You could download the free trial and see if it works for your client.

Hope I helped!
