I am attempting to resize the default slideshow box and I found that by manually editing the css file views-slideshow-ddblock-cycle-vsd-default.css I can obtain the size I want when I refresh the page where the slideshow view is held.

However, as soon as I reset the cache I lose this new size, and reverts to the defaukt size despite the css file remaining with the new customized size I put in..

I am not even too sure this is the right way to change the size using this module (views-slideshow-ddblock).. perhaps I should not touch that css.. maybe I should edit some other file?

How have you solved resizing the ddblock_if_example_slideshows view? Also can I set a different size for each separate variant block?

Thanks in advance,

Pete

Sizes should be changed in the css file of the slideshow template instead of the css file of the module.
A better way is to have different size files, so they can be changed easily and earlier created sizes don't get lost.

At http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/node/1845 you can find more information about this.

I spend also numerous hours to create slideshow themes which are for sale for a reasonable price at: http://themes.myalbums.biz
At http://themes.myalbums.biz/theme, you can select the slideshow themes which are compatible with a module version.

Hope this helps you further, please let me know.

Sorry to be so elementary but I cannot find this css template file you mention.. which one should this be? Where is it located relative to the root dir?

Thanks for the link you sent and thanks for the offer.. though this is free work I am carrying out for some charity so I'd rather keep everything within "no budget"..
