For some strange reason, empty (=not filled) textareas are allowed to show up on node pages, with label and absolutely no content following it. In the case of textfields, unfilled ones are correctly omitted, but not in the case of textareas.

Can someone reproduce this behavior?

Upon further investigation, I found out that an unfilled textarea contains as much as 7 characters (maybe line breaks?), so it qualifies as non-empty, thus being printed out.

The filter system was making the field non-empty. The check is now performed prior to filtering.
