Not all communities will want to organize their activities by age groups, etc. We should create a new module, incubator_events_activities, which will contain the following:

activity_group taxonomy
activity_group field
/activities view
/activities/[term] sub views

Postponed for Milestone 4. In the meantime, there are workarounds:

  • To change the categories, edit the vocabulary (Structure -> Taxonomy -> Activity Group)
  • To get rid of the display entirely, disable the Activities views (Structure -> Views)
  • To remove the selection options from Events, remove the "Group" field - with the name "field_activity_group" - from the Event content type (Structure -> Content Types -> Event -> Manage fields)
