Site editors invariably get confused about how to change the home page to something they can edit. Let's make it easy for them: the install profile should create a single page and set it as the home. Perhaps we could also have a view or two to mimic the river of news stuff.

Part 1 is done in dev: there is now a default homepage. A river of news would be a nice addition now.
