Slideshow Layout Query

A simple query, but frustrating for me. Using D7 & all current versions of modules and creating a content type with title, body & image (plus a taxonomy field for filtering), I’ve been trying to configure views slideshow to produce the particular layout seen here http://adaptivethemes.com/demos/atcommerce/ , i.e. with the same relative positioning of title, image & text. The comment with the inline field settings warns body elements may ignore the inline fields settings, but the AT Commerce theme shows there is a solution. A trawl of the various views tutorials has also drawn a blank (or have I overlooked something?). No problems getting a slideshow with the relevant fields, its just sorting this particular layout that’s the issue.

Does the solution involve bespoke CSS, or have I missed something in the standard config? A brief description (or better still a worked example) of how to achieve would be appreciated after many (many) hours of trying.
