When I paste the folder of this module in my modules-folder my browser (Firefox) says: 'The connection with the server was reinitialized while loading the page'.
It's not a browser problem, because I tested it on several browsers, and they're all giving the same error. It is really only this module, because I can install other modules. I tried both the 6.x-.2.0 and the 6.x-2.1 version, also both the same error.

EDIT: Only Service Links 6.x-1.1 does work in my case. It isn't a conflict with another module either (I removed every not-core module with service-links as the only enabled module -> no result).

I still don't know how to make a patch, but the solution for this is to shorten the description in 'general_services.info' (subfolder 'services') to 255 characters or less. This article says that a description in a .info file is limited to 255 characters, while this description contains 280 characters!
So this is a serious bug, that could easily be fixed.
