The two rules actions 'Send a message' and 'Send a message to a role' both create a new thread.

I think it would be useful if the actions provided the newly created thread_id as a variable for further processing by rules actions.

I've confirmed that the thread ID variable is properly provided and can be used in Rules actions with the latest dev version (2013-Jun-08). Though the thread ID variable is not always necessary, having it available could be very helpful in some use cases.

Committed and pushed to 7.x-2.x and 7.x-1.x, does not apply to 6.x. Also fixed a comment that did not follow the coding standard.

@ptmkenny: Remember to also check coding standards (the parts you know) of patches before you rtbc them.
