For some reason I can't block this user, receiving the following error:

The e-mail address [email redacted] has been denied access.

the email domain was blocked, we can't blocked the account. not sure if it's a core problem, or a bakery one.

I changed the email address (added 'spam' to the domain and blocked.)

they cannot, I had recently added the domain to the list of banned mail hosts. It is an alias for 10minutemail.
