Hi Sulay

It looks like the error is actually on the Indian site. You would need to get hold of the people that maintain that site for them to sort out the problem - nothing can be done from this side.

Sulay, I have no idea who is responsible for that site. You can do a domain name check and see if they list any contact details there.

http://www.who.is/whois-in/ip-address/drupal.in/ gives the info for drupal.in

It would be great for drupal developers in India to have a proper registry/directory of developers/templaters. I've been following Drupal since Jan 2007 and unfortunately have not found any Drupal resource in India that is community oriented.

Drupalindia.com and Drupalindia.org is taken as well.

So I made my own version of a drupal site to promote Drupal in India: http://indiandrupal.com (its not a portal and its not a social network althought it does have similar features)

Right now I got a wiki working, forums and to an extent groups are working (groups can be created, but no one can post yet, not even the site creator)

Sites been up about 5 days and there's lots more to do, If whoever is reading (Indian or interested in Drupal deployment in India) can contribute (non-financially preferred,) please comment.

Right now I need a few testers to add wiki pages: http://indiandrupal.com/node/19 (No log in required to create wiki pages.)
Here's the main wiki page http://indiandrupal.com/wiki
(Tables of contents module has been installed along with the tag. First day I'm really using a Drupal powered wiki.)

P.S the links in the downloads block on the top of the right column directly links to resources on drupal.org

Whatever you do, steer clear of www.drupalindia.com

I commissioned them to make a simple theme. They promised a 3-day turnaround but took 2 weeks. I gave an example of what I wanted in functionality by referring them to a website. Instead of making a theme with that functionality, they plagiarised the site, copying their photos and CSS and made a broken theme that would not validate and the didn't function properly.

drupalindia.com appears to be owned by a Mr Ravi Chamria, who takes your money in advance and then passes the job onto a freelancer with no chain of responsibility. The freelancer had limited English and didn't do a good job at all.

When I complained, I was made all kinds of promises, but there was no action and no reply.

They charged me AU$400 and the job was rubbish. I have had to pay someone else to fix it.
