Hello together.
I hope this post/question is no too repitious... There are mainly three threads that deal with the topic ( http://drupal.org/node/70194 , http://drupal.org/node/39573 , http://drupal.org/node/67824 ) and I really read them very carefully and tried out every advice, but...:
My new site http://www.onetti.net is bilingual. It's buildt with 4.7.4, and languages are handled by i18n. Everything works very well, thanks a lot to all the excellent Drupal-Contributors! The only thing I can't get working are language dependant homepage-links. That is, for my needs
- the feature that the (drupal-buildt-in) logo-hompage link points to the home-/frontpage of the choosen language (an example of this feature is José Reyero's work http://www.arcolationo.org ) (in my case, the logo is placed at the bottom of the page)
- the feature that the language link of the language-switcher does not only change the inferface-language (leaving the content untouched), but also redirects to the homepage of the (newly) choosen language.
Any idea how to achieve this? The only thing I think to have found out (even if i'm unable to detect or determne it) is that the modules i18n and front_page don't like each other very much? Do you have similar experiences?
I would really appreciate very very much much any help or hint!
Best regards
