Hi,

I have been pulling my hair trying to have paid membership subscriptions with PayPal WPS - no luck so far. Everything should be configured correctly, I have a couple of products in Subscription Manager that assign the relevant role and ask for recurring payment. Now, if I a choose the credit card payment option, everything works fine. User is created and I can see the recurring fees option in the profile page and also under the subcription manager. But when I check out with WPS, the order has the status Completed, user gets the role, but no recurring whatsoever. IPN is also configured correctly.

So I was wondering, what am I doing wrong? I am using the latest .dev versions of both ubercart and uc_recurring. Maybe this is why? I can see in the mod descr. that the status for WPS is (broken with ubercart 2.3 & 2.4), use 2.2 or 2.x-dev. Should I be downgrading to ubercart 2.2? Any other suggestions?

I have a similar issue. I am not getting IPNs for the recurring payments from Paypal. The Recurring Payments are happening as they should on the Paypal end but they are not getting updated on the Website.

What I cant understand is if the IPN works during initial transaction (which is responsible for setting up the recurring profile), why does it not work when the recurring transaction happens.

I have tested this on both sandbox and live.

Any Suggestions will be helpful. ?

My comment here #911664: Recurring and WPP - Can you chime in if you have it working? addresses the problem with recurring IPNs. Hope this helps.
