Is it possible to disable Better Messages for certain themes?

Our scenario is that we have a mobile site (with a mobile theme). Better Messages doesn't work extremely well on smartphones and we're looking to disable it.

Hi,
may I ask what mobile theme you are using? We are looking in deploying a mobile theme very soon and are using Better Messages on a dev site, while we like it so far, the mobile theme interaction could be a hurdle. Thanks.

@el_reverend - We rolled our own using mobile tools. The actual theme makes use of Collapsiblock, Menu Block modules. Check out the theme from a mobile device: www.GatorTailgating.com
