I got this message while attaching a patch. Not 100% sure, but I think I might have clicked the ajax "attach" button before selecting a file. See attached.

yes that just happened to me too, that is exactly how you cause the bug.

But te file got actually attached and can be downloaded? If that is true this is not an infra bug.

No, if you click attach file without selecting a file, it attempts to add a null file and in the process probably tries to open your files directory as a file.

And failed to do so (at least with Chrome). Please reopen if this is still a bug, but provide details on your environment and exactly what you did to trigger it.
