I've been really struggling to find a solution to be able to play site-encoded videos across all platforms - I'm using Video and have tried to get things to work with the jsVideo player - still no go. (I'm encoding mp4.)

The new JW Player (5.4) offers HTML5 capability and I've got it working with SWF Tools, but iPhone and iPad users still get the Flash error message.

I see that Whitehouse.gov is using SWF Tools (congratulations - you must be proud!) - there must be some way to do this! Any help here is greatly appreciated!

(Don't want to start a political discussion here, but insofar as whitehouse.gov is presumably paid for by American tax dollars, isn't the code really "ours?" - if you're American, that is.) ;-)

Can I hear a "Yes we can?" Hoping for a solution here... thanks!

I have created a patch against the HEAD in CVS that makes it so you can use FlowPlayer 3 with their iPad/iPhone plugin. The patch can be found in the issue Flowplayer 3 - Add support for iPhone/iPad plugin. Are you tied to using the JW Player?
