Problem/Motivation

The stream_wrapper_example module shows how to define a custom stream wrapper, which normally is not a task for a Drupal developers. Furthermore, the code is mostly "integration code" for PHP, not Drupal.

Proposed resolution

Remove the stream_wrapper_example module.
