#3404185: Revamp the 9.1.x branch for Varbase Profile to work with Drupal ~10 for a smoother upgrade process and drop support for Drupal ~9

Proposed resolution

  • Change drupal/core to ~9 in the .info.yml and composer.json files in the 9.0.x branch
  • Change that in all sub modules too

Varbase profile is using 

   "drupal/varbase_core": "~9.0",
Which allows sites to update to ~9.0.0 for Drupal 9
and allows for ~9.1.0 for Drupal 10

Updating Varbase ~9.0 to Drupal 10
Updating Drush to the Latest Stable Version

All old Varbase 9.0.x sites are ready to upgrade to Drupal ~10.1.0
Only by changing "vardot/varbase" from ~9.0.0 to ~9.1.0 in the root composer.josn file in the project

Paved the way for a smoother upgrade process to Drupal 10
Eliminating errors of using the same codebase with Drupal 9 and Drupal 10 and drop support for Drupal ~9
