I get a very long HTML form tag inserted into a tab on the Search page after I upgraded to 1.2. Version 1.1 didn't have this problem. The tab displays something like:

<form action/admin/settings/troll/search" accept-charset=....

Have you flushed your cache? It could be that the menu cache
is causing the display strangeness...no such troubles here
for me.

found the problem and fixed it in CVS. If you can test
a development snapshot with the fix and let me know
if it solves the issue then I'll make a new release.
