I have it limited to an arbitrary number which has thwarted some people from being able to add more rotator items. I will just increase it to infinity.

Pushed this out to 7.x-1.11: https://drupal.org/node/2187269. All you need to do after updating your OC install (should just need the profiles folder copied over) is run update.php and it will fix the issue.
