7.x-2.x already supports the new 2013 Zambian Kwacha through the library it uses, but we'll need to add it to 7.x-1.x and 6.x-1.x ourselves.

What is the reasoning behind leaving ZMK and adding ZMW instead of replacing one with the other? Just curious.

They are two completely different currencies. Deleting the old one would cause problems for existing applications that have data associated with the ZMK. Also, the ZMK will remain legal tender until June 2013.
