Anyone with access to the Administration Menu may change JCaption settings. There should be Permissions. We have a power user role that needs access to some module settings, but not JCaption's. Of the scores of modules that we are using, this is the only one that acts this way.

Good idea! I think it's quite easy to add. But some people may need to add permissions when upgrading. It would be great if you could set the Administrator permission to TRUE by default to make upgrading easy but I don't think thats possible.

I found out hook_install can be used to set default permissions, but I haven't tried if it's activated when just upgrading the module. Anyway, I pushed the code to HEAD and it's in the 7.x-1.x-dev for reviewing.

I agree that permission should be granted to the administrator by default. Thank you for replying so promptly.

I don't see 7.x-1.x-dev on the project page. How to I download it? :/

That did it.

Since it looks as though no one but you and I are interested in this thread, I'm switching the status to reviewed and tested by the community, i.e. you and me. :)
