Anyone with access to the Administration Menu may change JCaption settings. There should be Permissions. We have a power user role that needs access to some module settings, but not JCaption's. Of the scores of modules that we are using, this is the only one that acts this way.

acke CreditAttribution: acke commentedGood idea! I think it's quite easy to add. But some people may need to add permissions when upgrading. It would be great if you could set the Administrator permission to TRUE by default to make upgrading easy but I don't think thats possible.

acke CreditAttribution: acke commentedI found out hook_install can be used to set default permissions, but I haven't tried if it's activated when just upgrading the module. Anyway, I pushed the code to HEAD and it's in the 7.x-1.x-dev for reviewing.
