I couldn't find some permission settings because I was looking for display suite and not simple 'Extras'.
Please fix. I'm guessing there is a standard naming scheme for this stuff...

Good plan, this can indeed be confusing. Have attached patches for 7.x-2.x and 7.x-1.x. To be consistent I have updated the names of all 3 submodules, not only the Extras module. I have opted to write Display Suite in full, rather than the abbreviated "DS":

  • Display Suite Extras
  • Display Suite Forms
  • Display Suite Search

I have also updated the descriptions for ds_extras and ds_forms:

-description = "Contains additional features."
+description = "Contains additional features for Display Suite."

-description = "Manage the layout of forms."
+description = "Manage the layout of forms in Display Suite."
