The function filter() is not available to older browsers, IE8 and lower and some older Firefox versions. This causes an error which effectively kills any javascript process that runs after it. I have added a patch to fix the javascript file.

I had the same problem (running on Drupal 7.14). Updating to the latest dev of ais (7.x-1.x-dev) fixed it.

jasonsavino - this is the single greatest patch I have seen! I've been trying to figure out this bug for weeks! I didn't even realise it was AIS that was the cause.
