The Synonyms module enriches all Entities with the notion of synonyms.

  2. Let's say you have an "Event" content type with an "Event location" entityreference field. And you have a "Recent Events" view with "Event name" exposed filter. If you would like to be able to search both event names and Event locations within the same exposed filter Synonyms module can help.
