Basic usage

After the module has been successfully installed, follow these steps to configure the settings:

1. Go to the Content types administrative page
2. Pick any of the existing content types and choose the Manage field option
3. Identify and text fields that are configured to use a an input text field or a textarea (note that the module will not work on fields that have the "Filtered input" option active
4. Select the Edit option on any of the fields mentioned above
5. On the field's editing form locate the "Regex Field Validation" fieldset that module' specific fields
6. Check the "Validate field with RegEx" option to activate the Regular Expression textarea and the Error message text field
7. Insert a regular expression that you want to be used to validate the field content when a new node is created
8.  Insert a custom error message that should be displayed if the field doesn't validate
9. Save the settings and go ahead and create a new node
