I am an Acquia Certified Developer in Drupal 8.
I used to be a biochemistry instructor doing web development as a hobby in 1999 and switched careers in 2008.
I have worked with Drupal since 2009, version 6. I've built and maintained a lot of sites in v7, v8, and now am working with v9. I also have some experience with MVC frameworks: I played a bit with CakePHP many years ago, have used Laravel in the past, and have also dabbled with a personal project using the full Symfony framework. The experience with Symfony has really paid off in helping to understand the new "Drupal Way."
In 2015, released my first real personal project based on Drupal - a word game site called "Logomachi". Unfortunately, it never took off, so it's been mothballed.

* for administering school donation campaigns
* with event registration systems, leveraging Commerce add-ons and Editable Views
* interacting with external systems, either via REST or SOAP
* for straightforward eCommerce
* making large datasets available to the public
* automating multiple actions with cron jobs to ease user effort
* leveraging webform for producing individualized reports based on inputs.
