Simon Hu (simon_who)

I'm a Front-end Developer who genuinely enjoys getting into the technical "weeds" of a project. My
background is in delivering web projects for both government agencies and private businesses; so
far, I've launched 15+ Drupal websites, including over five GovCMS projects, and I currently
maintains a handful of others (≈20).

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; I focus on having a deep understanding of different
tools while keeping a note for the ones available out there, so I can choose the best stack for the
specific task at hand. While I’m highly disciplined with my technical workflows and project
management, I also enjoy the challenge of bridging the gap between developers, designers, and
clients to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I recently began seeking for opportunities to contribute back to Drupal community, and have so far
succssfully helped towards the Mercury theme. I also maintain a technical blog to share insights
and experiences from my day-to-day tasks and strggles, mostly to help others and, more
importantly, my "future self". When I’m not at my main desk, I’m usually tutoring computer
science courses at the Australian National University or volunteering my dev skills with the not-fot-
profit organisation Medical Pantry.
