Emmanuel Crown is a lead drupal developer for the World Bank in charge of managing all the drupal web assets for CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor). He joined the World Bank in 2011 after developing a web application “Schematical” which emerged top at the 2011 Nairobi Random Hackness of Kindness(RHOK) software competition. Schematical is a virtual mapping system developed to enhance search and rescue efforts by providing rescue respondents with the exact location and condition of a victim in a building all displayed in real time on a 3D map.

Prior to joining the Bank Emmanuel worked with the Kenya Red Cross Society with a team of other talented developers where they developed various web applications which were used by the Red Cross for humanitarian work.

In addition to this Emmanuel founded and leads the Crowny SMS Gateway Project as well as Social Live View.
