Mr. Donald L. McComas II has 28+ years of Program Management and executive leadership experience at increasing levels of responsibility. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he has expertise in directing internal IT programs through Agile methodology and coordinating all phases and teaming partners on complex projects for high-profile clients. He successfully manages a Java-based O&M project with an Oracle database for the Corporation for National & Community Service and oversees numerous large-scale IDIQ efforts consisting of multiple complex, concurrent Task Orders (TOs). He demonstrates a proven ability to adapt readily to changing technologies and organizational needs, currently managing 21+ staff members to deliver IT solutions within scope, on schedule and under budget. He has an intimate working knowledge of technical and functional project activities and employs excellent communication and relationship building skills to achieve consensus for strategic objectives and turn challenges into opportunities for success. As a confident negotiator and decision-maker, Mr. McComas maintains excellent working relationships with IT personnel, executives, and business partners to provide CNCS with a cohesive, organized team to help all stakeholders achieve their goals, produce a high quality, NIST compliant IT solution, while ensuring the utmost confidentiality and security of government information. He implements a comprehensive Transition Plan to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of operations at the start and end of contracts.
