I'm a web developer who leans more towards the back end than the front end of site building. My forte seems to be data organization and migrations. As Web Manager for the University of Minnesota Law School I'm responsible for our primary website (law.umn.edu) and especially several data applications that reside there. We migrated that site to Drupal in 2015 with the help of Electric Citizen (www.electriccitizen.com), and my primary role was the migration of legacy data into the components built by Electric Citizen (under my direction). In 2021 I led the migration to Drupal 9, with a lot of heavy lifting done by Les Lim. Now with a full-time front-end developer on the team, we're finally digging into some interesting projects that have long been on the backburner.
In 2023 we migrated a scholarship-allocation web application from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. This is a system that helps our admissions team match ~600 students up with ~200 different scholarship funds, based on a variety of criteria.
I've also built/migrated/maintained commerce websites for Sofawolf Press, up through Drupal 7. As the press winds down operations, we moved it to a simpler WIX commerce site that I am (thankfully) no longer responsible for.
Venue and catering coordinator for Twin Cities Drupal Camp, 2016!
