Sorry, I missed a deprecation before I tagged 8.x-1.2. This release is identical to release 2.0.0-beta1, but does not use semantic versioning, for anyone still using older releases of Drupal 8.

According to https://www.drupal.org/node/3070687 the "core" key has been removed. Therefore, the new version of module supports only the kernel version higher than "8.7.7"
