Version 2.0.0 of Search Overrides provides a number of changes from the 8.x-1.x branch but the most significant are the ability promote anything from a Solr search index (not just nodes anymore) and integration with the node edit interface, to allow promoting or excluding a node for any number of search queries, without the need to visit a separate interface.

Anyone upgrading from an 8.x-1.x version will also find an overhauled settings interface, and changes to make the interface more compatible with newer admin themes like Claro and Gin.
