Initial port to Drupal 8.

This release (re)introduces a dependency on the Configuration Update Base module, part of the Configuration Update Manager project. If you do not have that module installed, you must install it prior to updating to this release.

Some refactoring and documentation is expected to be added before release, but functionality and operation should not change before 8.x-1.0.

This version is obsolete: use 8.x-1.0-alpha2 instead.
