This is a release candidate for the next feature release of UIkit Admin 7.x-2.0. Release candidates are not supported for production sites, but they are intended for widespread testing in preparation for the upcoming stable release.

Pretty major re-factor in the underlying code and methodology, however very similar in terms of actual functionality and user interaction.
Primary differences:

This version adds support for Argon2i passoword hashing algorithm. There are several documentation updates here on drupal.org that are linked from the module.

For Argon2i support, you need PHP 7.2, which is merely an alpha release. If you are running a PHP version older than 7.2, there will be no effective changes. If you have PHP 7.2, head to the Status page (admin/reports/status) page for instructions on enabling Argon2i support.

In any case, no changes will be made unless you explicitly override settings.
