8.x-2.0 is the first stable release of the MongoDB package for Drupal since Drupal 6. It includes the driver module mongodb, the mongodb_watchdog logger module, and the mongodb_storage Key-Value store.

Make database and files backup before switching to this new version, otherwise you may loose all your users email addresses !
This new D8 version of the dbee module is not depending on the AES module anymore, because AES module is declared as insecure.
