We are getting closer to a stable version. This version can run without imagecache and using some very simple internal cache. This makes the whole gallery a whole lot easier!

added installation prerequisite checking which should make it much simpler to figure out whether your DNS server, web server, and drupal installation have been correctly setup to handle subdomains

added new mode: content types (automatically place nodes onto subdomains based on the node's content type)

Why 2.0?
New project owner. All bugs fixed all issues closed.
Preparing for drupal 6.x release.
It's a bandwagon, lets get on it.
Why alpha?
Needs enough user's support to prove it is a stable release.

This release is fully supported and production ready, any possible bugs will be attended to and fixed.
