Only png images were detected to generate thumbnail. Now png as well as jpg is supported.

Changes since 6.x-3.0:

Removed an example menu.

Since there's been no significant issues, rolling this as 1.0.

Fixed problem where module was looking for the plugin in the wrong place in certain circumstances.
