The Aegir team is pleased to announce the first release candidate for the upcoming Aegir 2.0 release.

This release mainly targets a few critical bugs that were found in the second beta, mostly related to ongoing Views, Drush integration and access control. We also introduce a number of new features and finally drop support for provisioning Drupal 5 sites completely (for real this time!). Along the way, we did quite a bit of API cleanup.

This release have the following features and fixes :

• back porting v3 to drupal6
• Fixing the whale image issue (no tweet result issue.)
• Add support for OAuth Twitter API Authentication

Also in this release jquery twitter search module use a custom jquery_twitter_search.js to support the OAuth functionality.

This module now requires Twitter and Oauth modules, due to Twitter updating their API. See #1781024: Make the Twitter Pull module work when Twitter turns off the version 1 API for more background.
