hello... i don't know if this issue has been solved but i am new to Drupal and i need to customize my front page to the following
i've created a new content type and added fields to it.
now when i add content and promote them to front page page the content shows like:
[title] value
[field1] - value
[field2] - value
[field3] - value
[teaser text]
but i need the title and the fields names to be aligned horizontally as a table headers , with values of several content below like
Hi all, I'ved designed a site for a client, I am currently at the phase of intregrating it into drupal. However I have different layouts for a few different pages for example Home Page (index.html) has a different layout than Assets (assets.html) and all other pages have a different layout from these two Subpage (subpage.html). How do I go about coding this. Thanks for any help.
i used views to output some content in block,but i want to chang the style of the output.how to do this? eg:
provided the content is the recent stories and the created time of the stories.but the default's rank form is top and down.this is not i want.i want to list these in a line,thinking this is controled by css,but where is this css file,i don't know where it is?

i want to custom a front page and the website have four taxonomy.i want to list the newest content of each taxonomy on the homepage in a rectangle.and on the top right corner of the rectangle is "the more"link.how to get this not use module panels?

started out building my site which can be viewed here (www.startuplab.net) using a free drupal theme. but it's just not going to cut it and i can't find any other good themes out there. i've searched far and wide and even looked at all of the premium theme sites. why aren't there any good ones available?
