Disapearing divs in xtemplate?

Hello,

First, let me say that I am a novice user of Drupal, but have some basic PHP skills, etc.

I am developing a tableless CSS-based layout built using xtemplate. I've been having a problem that a div I'm using to position the main content area (inside the

section tag) dissapears whenever I log in, so the administration content isn't styled or placed correctly.

Looking at xtemplate.engine, I found this on lines 192-194:

Switch styles dynamically with PHPTemplate

I am pretty happy with the flexibility of PHPTemplate. However, I would like to have two seperate style sheets. One would load for the majority of the site and be fixed width and in the center. Whenever you enter the admin section you would get a more flexible full window width style sheet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this in PHPTemplate?

How to? (Help) >_

Hello i been wondering, how can i do rounded blocks?

any theme using smarty engine?

I have seen the smarty theme engine in CVS for a while, but could not figure out how to use it. Is there any theme that make use this that I can use as example?

http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/contributions/theme-engines/smarty/

I'm using phptemplate on my site ( http://ichris.ws ) now and am quite happy with it. But I have heard good things about smarty (on this site and smarty's) for the longest time and would like to try it out.

How to edit .xtmpl and .theme?

When I open those files, from the standard themes that comes with Drupal 4.5.0, in my text editor, I get a bunch of random text. What program do I need to edit these files?

The new Drupal layout

Hello fellow Drupal users,
The new theme for Drupal.org doesn't seem to work all that well for Safari users. I'm not sure why but you can check it out here, at http://dippe.info/media/drupal.gif

Maybe I should yell at Apple but there's a diminutive possibility that something was overlooked when creating this, indeed very nice looking, theme.

Cheers
