Hi. Sat down this morning, archived my old static frontpage website, installed drupal on my 8$/year host along with image.module, weblink.module and poormanscron, and now a few hours later my first drupal website www.oldrup.dk is up and running. Not much content yet and still the default theme, but "the plumbing" is done. I'm really amazed how much drupal has to offer once you get to know it and I like the small footprint of the source, no bloat here.
The WoobleLab is an online community for new media artists. Just went up last week and I have to say I've been really happy with Drupal. I'm a designer, so working with code and all that was a pretty new experience. Drupal made it relatively painless--even a pleasure to create my first dynamic site. Thanks team Drupal. Now I just need more content...looking forward to watching it grow with community input.
