Hi all,
Our site is the Sanilac County Department of Veteran Affairs in Sanilac County, Michigan. (About 50 miles north of Detroit)
I know the design is a little boring, we were more focused on making the information easy for veterans to find and keeping things simple.
Our main users will be local people and the average age of our veterans is 60.
I'm specifically interested in:
1) Is the site easy to navigate?
2) Does it display properly on your screen?
This is an adapted theme with the xtemplate. Be brutal with your comments on style. I was aiming for simple and easy on the eye. (I'm a Drupal newbie and fan, be gentle!)
I have created a first beta release of my new Drupal-based site called Crazy Hacks. It's intended as a database of geeky computer-related projects, i.e. "hacks".
It runs off of Drupal 4.4.2 and uses a modified ADC theme. I also installed (and hacked) several contributed modules, e.g. atom, chatbox, flexinode, node_image, poormanscron and nicelinks.
In addition there's some custom HTML/PHP blocks which I have created.
Of, By and For is a Drupal site aimed at discussing ideas for political reform in the United States. The site was created by Mitch Kapor, founder of Lotus and of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Joe Costello, who was one of the principals in the Howard Dean campaign, and Bart Decrem, who, among others, heads marketing for the Mozilla project. This Friday, September 24, the site will host its first live event, a conversation between Joe Trippi, the campaign manager during the Dean campiagn, and Mitch.
