Drupal as CMS for proyect "Un Tal linux" http://www.untallinux.net

Hi,

After evaluation of many CMS(Mambo, Xoops, PostNuke, and others) I´ve come to the conclusion of installing my portal in Drupal.
The main reazons:
1. Structure. The software is a piece of art!, it's so clean, modular, and easy to understand and maintain. I don't know PHP yet, but the code is understandable and i could bet easy to maintain.
2. Easy to operate. I resume it in one sentence : It´s simplicity is amazing when you compare with the lot of funcionality tha the CMS offert you.
3. It´s completly Open Source. Nothing to add.
4. It's multilingual.
5. The Vision and level of madurity. For my point of view the project still has a lot to grow, and because of the structure, it can expand up to no limit.
6. The comunity. It's very confortable to know that there is a group of people really willing to help you.

About the proyect : "Un tal linux" (I guess it could be translate it to : There is something called linux...)
The main idea is to share the following : Linux is indeed an alternative to evaluate, not only from the technical perspective, but also from the Financial, and operative perspective.
Being a MIS(Manager Information System) of a University(Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado) has giving me the oportunity to investigate about Linux-Open Source and otras hierbas. I want to translate the idea not to the technical gays, but to the people who make the financial decisions: the CEO',s CFO. The people of the power to choose based on terms of benefits and Money $$$$.

Announcing Snowblogs

Just thought I'd mention my new Drupal site: www.snowblogs.net. Its a ski and snowboard blog portal and community site intended to showcase existing ski/snowboard blogs and encourage newbies to write their own blogs on the site.

I love the Drupal software and look forward to more enhancements in future (especially to the aggregator module which is the core of my site).
