Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

How do I create a time field that is just the formatting?

I'm working on converting a hard-coded site to Drupal. I have pages that include hours that businesses are open (each business has a page with their information). I'm trying to create fields for when business open and close (e.g. Monday, open at 9:00 am and close at 6:00 pm, Tuesday...).

So what I'm really looking for is a way to be sure that everyone is inputting their times in the same format (12 hr with am/pm or 24 hour), or at least that the data is stored in a constistent way to access it from multiple locations.

How do I change | to ::

Hello,

I would like to change the category separator for page titles from | to ::

eg: this current page is Submit forum topic | drupal.org

I would like to change all pages to use :: so it will be Submit forum topic :: drupal.org

What file do I need to modify to achieve this?

Views module: overwriting existing Drupal paths

Experimenting with the Views module I set up a view for /taxonomy/term with 1 argument of 'term id'. This appeared to overwrite the default output of /taxonomy/term/n (i.e. I saw my new view page, and not the usual /taxonomy/term/n page).

Problems Enabling Taxonomy ( Drupal 4.7 )

I just upgraded my drupal based site to Drupal 4.7. I wanted to check the functioning of free-tagging provided by new taxonomy as mentioned in this youtube video.

The upgrade went fine, however there is no Administer -> Settings -> Taxonomy or the Administer -> Categories as mentioned in taxonomy and free-tagging posts on this forum.

I have the taxonomy module enabled , is there anything else that i need to set ?

Problems sending new user information via email

I am having problems sending new user information via email. I login as the administration #1 account and 'add user'. I check the 'notify user of account', but the user never receives the email.

I am checking with my local (miltary) network support group and they indicate that they aren't blocking my incoming emails. I also have word into my webhost, a third party, to see if they can reach the military DNS that I am trying to send to.

Any other thoughts or suggestions? I'm really rather stuck at the moment and would appreciate any thoughts you may have.

Replying to a comment with an email

I'm using drupal 4.7 to run my blog (www.libertinayarns.com) and a small online store, and while I have only limited knowledge of php or mySQL, I've found drupal amazingly customizable for my purposes. But I'm having one major problem, and no amount of searching the forums has turned up a solution.
