Post installation

I think this is something I should be able to google, however I am coming here after 4 hours of trying to find any information....

I have a contact form, which after submission says "thank you" or whatever my message is, so that seems to work, however no email is sent.

I was not sure if email sending was built into core, or an additional module, or required 3rd party mail server etc... so set out trying to find out.

We are running Drupal 10.3.10 & Full Calendar View 5.2.4.
My main browser is Firefox.

I have got the Calendar running successfully using my main Administrator account.
The Full Calendar View formats and displays fine using the above account.
The events display the correct time in the database when editing the Content using the above account.

However, the calendar events are incremented in advance by one hour when:

I am on Drupal 10.2.5. Bartic 1.0.2. I recently added the captcha module and was finally able to turn on the contact form and new account requests. Spam count zero. But, I broke something. When I navigate through the menu the Home menu is set to the page I am on. If I click it I don't go anywhere, because I am already there. In Edit menu Main navigation the Home entry says it is provided by the standard model and cannot be edited. Yet it keeps changing. I have cleared the cache, Drupal and browser, and it is the same on different devices.

I have a view of a simple content type with just a title and a multi-value image field.  By creating a relationship with the file table, I can select the file name and the delta value.

Can someone suggest how to create a website, using D10 onward, that accepts donations and have different categories and membership, as well as different payment gateways.

All my search for Donation modules, themes and other options resulted in some that are developed for Drupal 7 and all are discontinued.

Drupal is up and running but how do I replace a banner ad? 

I am out of my element due to retirements in our organization.  Can someone show me how to replace a sponsored ad on my site?

I have a replacement banner ad that needs to be posted under the words "Market Ticker" below to replace what's currently posted.  Once I log in, I don't know where to go to upload a replacement and swap it out.
