How to Configure TB Mega Menu

Documentation for TB Mega Menu's features apply to all versions and can be found in the latest Drupal documentation. However, the following items are unique for using TB Mega Menu in Drupal 7.

Building a Locale Based Menu

  1. Go to Structure > Menu and click Add Menu button
  2. Create a menu for each language you want.
  3. Under Multilingual options check Fixed Language and select the Language of the menu in the drop down and Save the menu.

Adding a Block with Images

1. Add a new block at Structure > Block layout > Custom block library > Add custom block\

    a. Give the block a unique name so it’s easy to find in the list of the blocks.

    b. Add images to the block’s body. Use the WYSIWYG editor to upload images and link them.

    c. Translate the block as needed.

Configuring a full, Edge-to-Edge Drop Down Mega Menu

  1. First, select the parent level menu item you wish to configure.
  2. Next, set your columns. There is already a single column, so you want to select the 2nd level menu item where column two should begin, then click the right arrow button under Break column
    1.  Repeat this step for each item that will be a column header.

Configuring a Simple, Three Level Drop Down Menu

Note: by default, 3rd level menu items will render as right/left flyout menus

1. Go to Structure > TB Mega Menu and select Config. Click on the parent level menu item to reveal its dropdown, then select the parent item of the 3rd level menu item and select Yes under Group. Click save and refresh after grouping the items to group additional menu items.

Configuring a Simple, Two Level Drop Down Menu

  1. In most cases, simple drop downs do not require any additional configuration provided there are no third level menu items.
